CONSULTATION

• If you are renovating an existing space and don't have blueprints or don't know what to measure.  Then, don't worry, we offer FREE ON-SITE consultations and there is NO COMPROMISE, NO HASSLE, it's our promise to you.

• If you have a blueprint or layout of your project, you can either visit us or request an appointment to review your project.  At this point we will inform and recommend you the type of materials that are trending and available for your project.

• If you already know the surface material and color to be used, you can always send us an E-MAIL or FAX with your layout and the material information and we can email you an approximate estimate

SLAB VIEWING AND SELECTION

• Having decided on what surface is more suitable for your project we can start checking out slabs.  This selection could be done either at our facility or depending on the surface and/or brand we may have to see the slabs at one of our local "PREFERRED VENDORS" usually within 5-10 mins distance of our location.  We will come with you to explain you some details on every stone you are interested.  Also we may provide you with a very close final price on your project.

• At this point you will be able to check out full-size slabs instead of small outdated samples.  We may be able to provide you with a rough cutting layout (if you provided us any sort of plan or layout).  Every natural stone slab is UNIQUE, no other will be the same and nobody will have the same slab as yours.   Therefore we encourage you to take your time on making the correct selection.  Even though you will possibly choose 100 different slabs only one of them will make you fall in love with it, that one, is the RIGHT ONE.

TEMPLATES AND MEASURING

• Once we have finalized the slab selection we can proceed to go out and template your cabinets/pieces (wall and bottom boxes should be fully installed and secure on its final position, including floor to ceiling panels, corbels, etc.)  Appliances and all hardware like sinks, faucet, hot water dispenser, cooking tops or anything that will get attached to the countertop should be on site to ensure accurate cuts and a tight fit.

• At this point (if we haven't done it already) will be collecting a deposit payment to be able to proceed to the next stage.  Otherwise this may delay your project turnaround time

OPTIONAL SLAB AND TEMPLATE LAYOUT

• This is the fun part of the project were you and us will place the templates on your selected slab and you will be able to determine what part of the slab you like the most for all the pieces in your project.  

 

INSTALLATION DAY

• It usually takes an average of 3-5 business days to go out to install your new countertop after you have approved the cutting layout.   Although we try to minimize the turn-around time this may change depending on:

  • The complexity and details of your project.  Keep in mind that all stones have a different complexity level to be fabricated to an acceptable quality level and this may extend the turnaround time.

  • Our schedule at the time you place your order.  We may have openings when you first come to visit us but that may change on a daily basis, as we schedule projects on a first come first served basis.

  • Weather, we strive to get your project finished as soon as possible.  But, we believe that our staff safety will come first above anything else and in the event of snow storms or accumulations (depending on a job per job basis), heavy rain or extreme winds we may delay your installation until the weather conditions are favorable for our staff safety.  We are comfortable believing that you will agree with us on this

• INSTALLATION TIME: usually takes 2-5 hours within the same day.  In some cases the same day, we may have to template for the second part of the project such as: full height backsplashes, shower walls/panels and some mitered projects.

• Prior to our arrival to install please make sure that:

  • Driveway and walkways are plowed, shoveled or clear of obstructions.  Some pieces may be up to 1500 lbs. and it is extremely risky for our staff to move this pieces.​

  • We love pets as much or more than you do.  But for their own safety, we strongly ask you to put them on a leash or in as safe area separated from the working space.  We use very sharp objects, strong chemicals, heavy tools and we are going to be in and out of the house every 2 seconds or may need the to keep the door open while we transport our equipment and your pieces into the house.

  • Same rule applies for kids, you and your family safety is our biggest concern, therefore we strongly enforce this rules

• After finishing the installation we'll make sure the work area is clean as when we arrived so you can continue with your normal day to day life.  At this point plumber, tile installer or electrician will be able to start using the countertops.

• And finally, knowing you will be 100% happy with our work and your finished project will ask you to sign off on the final invoice and we will be collecting the remaining balance.  If you will making your payment with credit card please advise the office one day prior to our arrival so we can make the correct preparations to take your payment.
